After initially studying illustration and sociology, Clémence graduated from the International Center of Photography in 2007. She was later invited to take up a residency at the 14th Rencontres Internationales de la Jeune Photographie in Niort, France. In 2008, Clémence was selected for the Joop Swart Masterclass. She is a winner of the Rodenbach Fund juried by Jan Hoet, Magenta Emerging Photographer and La Bourse du Talent. Her work has appeared in publications such as New York Magazine, Foam, Ojodepez, The Fader, The British Journal of Photography and The Sunday Times Magazine. She has been featured in solo and group exhibitions in Europe, Asia and the USA.
