Belgian, b.1980

After initially studying illustration and sociology, Clémence graduated from the International Center of Photography in 2007. In 2008, Clemence was selected for the Joop Swart Masterclass. She is a winner of Magenta Emerging Photographer, the Rodenbach Fund, La Bourse du Talent and PDN 30. Most recently she was awarded the Photography Grant by the Fondation Jean-Luc Lagardère. Her work has appeared in publications such as New York Magazine, Foam, Ojodepez, The Fader, The Sunday Times Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and Le Monde. She has been featured in solo and group exhibitions in Europe, Asia and the USA. Her photographs are included in the collection of the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
